My name is Joachim Otto and I live in St. Augustin/GERMANY. I'm 23 years of age and a student of business administration at the University of Cologne. St. Augustin is about 30 kms from Cologne and 10 kms from Bonn, the former german capital.

My favorite pasttimes are sports of any kinds. Most of the time I'm playing basketball and golf - my newest hobby - and I also play tennis. Basketball coverage in Germany is kinda limited so I try not to miss a game on TV. The Toronto Raptors are the team of my choice, featuring the hottest star in NBA basketball: Vince Carter. In golf I like Nick Faldo and Tiger Woods, the former a champion in the 90s, the latter the champion for the new millenium. For years I've been a fan of the local soccer club 1.FC Cologne and they just returned to the german first Bundesliga in their quest for the first national title since 1978!

Else I like going to the movies with my friends catching the last flicks on the big screen. Harrison Ford, Will Smith, Tom Hanks, Meg Ryan and Alicia Silverstone make up the most wanted.

In music I like basically everything apart from techno, trance and all this crap! Mostly I'm listening to the current chart-hits and 80s-style music. My favorite artists are Mariah Carey, Whitney Houston,Elton John,  Britney Spears, Celine Dion and my current favorite: Aqua.

I also enjoy reading very much when I find the time, mostly I read Tom Clancy, John Grisham and any other crime or suspense thriller I get into my hands.
